Registry Collection Hotels is a luxury brand introduced by Wyndham Hotels & Resorts in 2021 as its 21st brand. It was created to fill a space at the upper end of Wyndham’s portfolio, offering a curated collection of hand-picked independent hotels that deliver elevated guest experiences and inspire the wanderlust of today’s travelers.
The hallmark of Registry Collection Hotels is "Individuality, Elevated" . Each property is selected for its unmistakable individuality, thoughtful design, and world-class service. The brand allows independent luxury hoteliers to maintain their unique identity and independent spirit while benefiting from the global scale, distribution, and award-winning Wyndham Rewards® loyalty program of the world’s largest hotel franchising company.
The brand debuted with its flagship property, the exclusive 144-room, all-suite Grand Residences Riviera Cancun in Mexico, nestled on a white sand beach near Puerto Morelos. Since its launch, the portfolio has grown to include more than 20 hotels worldwide, with locations spanning from Greece to Panama City, and nearly 10 more properties in the pipeline.
In September 2024, Registry Collection Hotels made its U.S. debut with the opening of The Mining Exchange in downtown Colorado Springs. This 128-room boutique hotel, once home to the stock exchange for gold and silver sourced from the Rockies, has been fully renovated to blend its rich history with modern luxuries. The property features multiple culinary outlets, a full-service spa, an on-site art gallery called The Vault, and 15,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
As Wyndham’s luxury soft brand, Registry Collection Hotels caters to affluent travelers seeking bespoke and immersive experiences that boutique, independently minded operators can offer. The brand continues to expand globally, bringing distinctive, unforgettable experiences to some of the world's most stunning destinations.
FF&E at Registry Collection Hotels
At Registry Collection Hotels, FF&E (Furniture, Fixtures, and Equipment) is the physical expression of the brand’s "Live in the Moment" philosophy. Unlike standardized luxury chains, the collection prioritizes curated individuality—each property's FF&E is designed to reflect its unique geographical narrative and cultural heritage while adhering to rigorous quality standards. The focus is on tactile luxury: bespoke joinery, locally sourced artisanal materials, and high-end finishes that transform spaces into authentic, high-touch sanctuaries.
From a project management perspective, the FF&E strategy emphasizes seamless integration of durability and aesthetic excellence. Given the brand’s diverse portfolio—from historic urban palaces to remote island retreats—specifications must consider localized supply chains, climate resilience, and operational ease without compromising design integrity. The ultimate goal is to deliver an emotionally resonant guest journey, where every fixture, from the lobby’s signature art installation to the in-suite millwork, tells a story of place and sophistication.
